A little surprise for donors, something cool for everyone tomorrow and my usual ramblings.

I realized just now that I hadn’t written a real newsletter since November (supposing you don’t count my kinda-sorta roadmap post) and it was time to put something up – so here we go!

The first device review has been posted

I’ve just posted my first ever review of a device, which in this case was the HTC Incredible S. It’s a very solid device for a reasonable price and if you’re in the market it’s worth checking out. (Of course it’s ARMv7 and running Android 2.2, so it is ideal for developing Android apps while using Corona.)

If you’re in Australia then it is definitely worth looking at; the price compared to similar devices is just nuts.

A little surprise for anyone who donated in January

Those of you who donated any amount in January have a gift in your inbox. If you use a different email to your Paypal address let me know and I’ll be happy to resend. This is just my way of saying thank you. Enjoy!

A new, free Plants VS Zombies template

In collaboration with the awesome Alex (@dunkelg) you guys now have access to a totally free Plants VS Zombies template for use with the Corona SDK!

Something cool coming tomorrow

Tomorrow (that’s Monday in the US) I will have another cool surprise for everyone coming from a fabulous guest poster, so stay tuned for that!

Gizmodo Australia interview

In case you missed it I was interviewed by Gizmodo Australia – which was just awesome as I’m a big Gizmodo fan.

And that’s it for now!

I really should try to become more organized with my newsletters – one day!

  1. I think I’m subscribed. fill it in. hit the button. hope for the best. that’s my philosophy…

  2. Congrats on the interview with Gizmodo Australia! Well done :)

  3. I’d definitely donate if I knew what the little gift was!

    • Everyone who donated in January got a free template from my store worth $35. (I’m trying to find more ways to thank donors.)

That said, the little gift was to thank them for donating – it’s not to lure people into donating in exchange for anything – it’s about thanking those who show their appreciation and support for Techority, that’s all – if people want to swap money for goodies they can do that in the store :)
